A WORKSHOP IN 3 ACTS
Once completing their participation in any of our programs, Unusual Suspects Alumni are welcomed to join our Alumni Program, A Workshop in 3 Acts, hosted twice a month year round. Through this workshop, alumni will continue creating original work and building on their writing skills.
Create an easily accessible workshop space where our alumni can routinely:
- Create original work
- Practice and perform their work
- Give and receive feedback on their work
- Receive mentorship and education to support their artistic goals
- Foster a community where they can find fellow collaborators
This is a drop-in program, alumni can attend as many or as few workshops as they wish. The goal of this workshop is to provide a space of support for alumni to continue creating their own original work and delve deeper into longer-spanning projects.
ACT 1 IS TO WRITE, ACT 2 IS TO PERFORM, AND ACT 3 IS FOR YOU!
ACT I
The first hour focuses on generating short-form original work during the single session for first-time attendees.
ACT II
The second hour focuses on acting & directing skills/performing said work created in the first hour of the workshop.
ACT II
The third hour is a flex block/office hours for returning students to delve deeper into longer-spanning projects.
Let us know you’ll be attending!
It’s important we know ahead of time to prepare enough materials for all who plan to attend.
