    Edison Middle School Performance of “Fear, Family, and Finding Acceptance”

    The talented Unusual Suspects students at Edison Middle School have written an original play that they will perform in a free public show on Friday, May 12th!

    Kris, a transgender teen and child of adoption, feels misunderstood and ostracized by their family and peers. As a way of escape Kris retreats into the fantasy world of a fairytale book left to them by their biological mother thats tells the story of peaceful genderless gummy people. After discovering a secret hidden in the book Kris runs away in search of the gummy people and a home where they can feel accepted, but in the end discovers their true home and acceptance was closer than they thought.
