FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Conservatory is open to all LA high schoolers, no experience necessary. Whether you’ve been performing since you could walk or have never set foot on a stage, there’s a place for you here. We’re looking for curiosity and commitment, not a resume.

Nope. The Conservatory is completely free, because we believe theatre training shouldn’t depend on what you can afford.

The Conservatory is built as a four-year sequential program, so students can grow with it year over year. Every site shares the same core curriculum, so no matter where you train, you’re getting the same Unusual Suspects experience.
Yes. At the end of every spring Conservatory, we host DEVISE FEST, a space for each location’s Conservatory to showcase their original work on a stage for the community.
